All of us wake up wanting and needing a purpose for that day. People with disabilities have that same desire that needs to be filled.
Until Rabbi Levy and Leah Stein came to our area, that was not addressed. There may have been partial programs here or there, but nothing as sophisticated and well rounded with the addition of love and support like this Friendship Circle.
I toured the amazing new facility that will serve as a café for the entire community, Soul Studio and Gallery and above all, the bakery. The café will be named in honor of Todd Miller. It will have employment training opportunities which graduates will then move into the real world and long-term employment opportunities.
However, we are $36,000 from our goal. That may seem a lot, but if we could all donate what we can to help furnish the kitchen, and you pass this note to family and friends we can do it!
Technology as we know is a great way to pass information. It doesn’t matter if this program is not in their community. What matters is this group of people are more like everyone than being different, and they have goals in life, too. Let’s help them get to the finish line!
Donate directly to www.fcwi.org/donate and let’s get that kitchen built. Thank you
